Starting Sept. 16, 2022, the world of the anime series “Jujutsu Kaisen” will come to life at Universal Studios Japan for a limited time.
What is “Jujutsu Kaisen?”
The television series (first broadcast in October 2020) is based on the Shueisha Jump Comics by Gege Akutami, with a circulation in Japan of over 65 million copies for volumes 0 to 19 of the original book. The second season will be broadcast in 2023.
The “Jujutsu Kaisen” film was released in December 2021 and earned 13.7 billion yen ($101,430,772.20) at the box office.

“Jujutsu Kaisen” at Universal Studios Japan
During the highly-anticipated limited-time collaboration, guests will be immersed in the story as favorite characters from the popular series – led by high school student (and jujutsu sorcerer) Yuji Itadori – use their powers to engage in a battle to save the world (and the theme park) from cursed spirits.
