Let’s get all set to gently glide at the Wonderful Duck Derby
Get your ducks in a row this weekend and head over to Mead Botanical Garden for the Excellent Duck Derby.
Hosted by Mead Botanical Back garden this Saturday (March 21) at 10 a.m., the Fantastic Duck Derby capabilities a superior-stakes rubber-duck race by way of Mead Garden’s pond. Other household-friendly diversions include “duckoration” stations, encounter-painting, sing-alongs, animal encounters, a bug closet(!) and bounce houses.
Admission to the event is free, but if you want to consider portion in the race it will value you a several bucks. You can adopt a “racing” duck for $5, with an possibility to adopt 4 for $20 and get a fifth one cost-free.
All proceeds for this celebration will benefit kids’ character and environmental courses at Mead Garden.
