According to the A&E website, this show explores the creative chefs behind these popular fair foods that people travel far and wide to eat.
“Deep Fried Dynasty” gives an inside look into how small family-run businesses create a dish within 24 days to bring their vision to life and rake in profits from thousands of fair-goers. Some of these bites include Toffee Coffee Crunch Cake, Crispy Crazy Corn and Deep Fried Butter.
“I am most excited for people to learn about the State Fair of Texas and our team, our relationship with our vendors, and what it entails for us to work together and make this annual event a success,” said Melanie Linnear, State Fair of Texas vice president of food and beverage. “Our concessionaires are both culinary and business geniuses.”
There are eight contestants on the show, each with their own signature dish. You will have the chance to try out each greasy plate at the State Fair of Texas this year slated to run from Sept. 30 to Oct. 23 in Dallas.
