SeaWorld Orlando announced details this week about their surfing themed roller coaster under construction. Pipeline: The Surf Coaster will reach a peak of 60 mph and go as high as 110 feet up along its 2,950 feet of rail. Orlando Sentinel tourism reporters Dewayne Bevil and Katie Rice discuss the ride’s restraint system, surfing stance and inversion that simulates riding the waves. They also discuss news about the upcoming “Moanna” attraction at Epcot, Tron at Magic Kingdom, “Fantasmic” nighttime spectacular at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Pirate River Quest at Legoland Florida.
