Halloween is just days away and the Orlando Science Heart is throwing a evening stuffed with terrors, scares and some grownup pleasurable. If you’re on the lookout for the ideal spooky location for date night time or a night time away from the young children, the Center’s Science Night Dead (with apologies to the normal “Science Night Live”) is just right for the celebration.
Star-gazers can search into the night sky, peering by way of a big telescope, or become
a mad scientist conducting lab experiments in Dr. Dare’s laboratory. Special guest UCF professor Sandra Wheeler will give a presentation of the relationship involving people and the supernatural. Attendees will get a crash study course in all matters undead, vampiric and mummified with this guest lecture.
A choice of beer and wine will be out there as nicely. The party happens at the Orlando Science Middle on Saturday, Oct. 22 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $19.
