Royal Comedy Tour coming to UCF

ORLANDO, Fla. – Get ready for a comedy coronation at the University of Central Florida Friday night as the kings and queens of laughter roll into town.

The Royal Comedy Tour is coming to Addition Financial Arena at 8 p.m. and features a star-studded lineup that includes Sommore, Bruce Bruce, Lavell Crawford and Don “DC” Curry.

Sommore is known for being a trailblazer to women in comedy, with such specials as “Chandelier Status” and “A Queen With No Spades,” and has starred in a number of films, including “Soul Plane,” “Something New” and “Friday After Next.”

Bruce Bruce has been seen on stage, TV and film in everything from Netflix’s “Family Reunion” to Ice Cube’s “XXX: State of the Union.”

After initially gaining critical acclaim in NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” Crawford has gone on to appear in “Workaholics,” “Breaking Bad,” “Chelsea Lately” and more.

And Curry, who got his start on BET’s “Comic View” and is best known for his role in the sitcom “Grace Under Fire,” has also starred in films such as “Next Friday” and “Friday After Next.”
