Plant-based Pacific Island Burger from D-Luxe Burger

Elen Salzburg May 20, 2022

My recent quest is to come across distinct allergy-welcoming solutions all about Walt Disney Environment assets in hopes that it could help people with equivalent allergic reactions or sensitivities. I feel like there isn’t a lot written content listing or examining the different selections on property, and I want to adjust that. I went to Disney Springs to check out the plant-dependent solution at D-Luxe Burger, and I was not unhappy.

My Perspective

Right before I get into my meal, I want to shine a gentle on how attractive the view is when sitting in the outside space. This space brings me these types of peace, so significantly so that I applied to occur listed here to study when I was in college or university. In any case, let us dive into the food.

Allergy-Helpful Menu Description

I purchased from the My Disney Experience app, but I found that they are using stroll-up orders. I prefer to buy by the app when ordering allergy-helpful options for the reason that I can look at the allergy-helpful menu and double-check out that it’s a thing I can try to eat. The Pacific Island Burger is a plant-based patty with cabbage and mushroom ragout, mango salsa, lettuce, tomato, and pickles served on a plant-based allergy-friendly bun. Unfortunately, I am allergic to mango, so I removed it from the burger. I did sense like some thing was missing from the burger to give it that island feel, and while feeding on, I realized it is mainly because that is what the mango salsa is for. I like mushrooms, so cabbage and mushroom ragout was my favorite component. I’m not positive which plant-dependent patty they use for this burger, but it reminded me of the delicious, Over and above Burger patties. I will say $12.49 for a burger that doesn’t appear with a side or a consume I thought was a bit considerably. If fries had been incorporated in that $12.49, I would’ve felt differently about the rate.

When my food items came out, I beloved that there was an allergy-friendly sticker on the box. That sticker reveals that it is an allergy-welcoming meal they also circle which allergy it is to ensure it is designed securely. The sticker does warn that they don’t have a separate kitchen area to cook allergy-friendly foods but that the kitchen normally takes ways to avoid cross-contamination. In accordance to the sticker, they just can’t warranty that it is 100% cost-free of allergens.

Now, will I come again running to this place for this burger? No. If it was my only solution at Disney Springs like if I ended up in a hurry, I would get it. I would appear back again for that check out since it was tranquil and absent from the hustle and bustle of Disney Springs.
