According to The Hollywood Reporter, Peter Rice, Chairman of Basic Enjoyment Written content for The Walt Disney Enterprise, is leaving the enterprise.
Rice is reportedly exiting the corporation just after remaining “summoned” to a meeting with Disney CEO Bob Chapek on Monday. Rice joined the Walt Disney Business in 2019 when the enterprise obtained 21st Century Fox’s television and movie divisions.
In his role at Disney, Rice oversaw the amusement and news programming for Disney+, Star, and Hulu, in addition to the Walt Disney Company’s cable and broadcast networks.
Dana Walden (who also produced the shift from Fox to Disney) will be taking over for Rice.
Resources declare that Peter Rice experienced a number of years remaining on his existing agreement, and is set to obtain a major payout.
