Pulse Remembrance Week 2022 marks the six-year anniversary of the shooting, and in honor of the 49 victims and 68 people injured, plus the first responders and healthcare professionals who treated them, The Wheel at Icon Park will be lit in their memory, and $5 from each ticket sale will be donated to the onePulse Foundation.
Guests who ride The Wheel during that time will be offered a free Orlando Strong hat, as well as a free Magic Memories commemorative photo with unlimited downloads.
The fundraising event kicked off with the 6th Annual 4.9K CommUnity Rainbow Run on June 4, presented by Orlando Health and Hard Rock International. A remembrance ceremony will take place at the Pulse Interim Memorial on June 12, from 7-8 p.m. For a full list of activities visit onePulseFoundation.org.
The onePulse Foundation is a 501(c) 3 incorporated by Pulse nightclub’s owner and was established with the goal of supporting “a memorial that opens hearts, a museum that opens minds, educational programs that open eyes, and legacy scholarships that open doors.”
iHeartMedia and Icon Park entertainment district on International Drive have partnered to help increase awareness of onePulse Foundation and the fundraising event.
