AUSTIN, Texas — The famed “Haven’t achieved you yet” singer-songwriter Michael Bublé was scheduled to perform at the Frank Erwin Heart on Sept. 20.
In an announcement through Twitter, Bublé mentioned that he was not a “political person” but that he was canceling the Austin display because the COVID protocols could not be certain that “nobody will be set in harm’s way.”
The Erwin Center issued the subsequent statement on its web-site:
“Though The University of Texas is self-confident in the wellbeing and basic safety protocols and techniques that are in put for substantial scale functions, we are not in a situation to expand on people as Michael Bublé requested. As a result, the artist has made a decision to cancel his Austin date. Shoppers who procured tickets with a credit history card on-line or by telephone by the Texas Box Office will be refunded quickly within just 30 days.”
