Mardi Gras will come to Sanford Feb. 18
A New Orleans songs legend once demanded in song that you “Go to the Mardi Gras.” You may want to recalibrate your GPS, simply because there are some festivities brewing up in Sanford.
Mardi Gras, Sanford-style, is again for a ninth calendar year on Saturday, Feb. 18, from 4-9 p.m. The festivities will having above the Historic Downtown Sanford place, boasting are living songs, a parade, food vans, high spirits and regional sellers.
Immediately at 4 p.m., a next-line type parade of musicians, dancers, artists, golfing carts and (likely) you, will strut down Sanford Avenue.
“The Mardi Gras Avenue Bash is just one of our favorite Sanford functions and we’re so psyched to rejoice with anyone again!” reported Paul Williams, proprietor of function host West Conclude Investing Co., in a press statement.
The celebration is cost-free.
