TEXAS — If you weren’t able to catch Lizzo in Texas during South by Southwest, you have another chance to catch her in Texas this year. After three years, two new tracks and one television show on Amazon Prime, the “About Damn Time” singer is hitting the road for her North American 2022 tour.
Her “Special” tour includes 23 dates and kicks off on Sept. 23 at Florida’s FLA Live Arena.
Lizzo will be visiting the Moody Center in Austin Oct. 25, the Toyota Center in Houston on Oct. 26 and the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Oct. 27.
American Express cardholders had a chance to buy special pre-sale tickets earlier this week starting on April 26 through April 28 at 10 p.m. local time. Non-American Express holders can also access early tickets on April 27 by pre-saving “Special.” Tickets will go on sale to the general public Friday, April 29 at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
“Special” will be released on July 15, featuring “About Damn Time” as the title track, which Lizzo debuted on “Saturday Night Live.”
