Kids Night at Museum has sci-fi theme

Orlando Science Center is adding sci-fi twists to its next Kids Night at the Museum, which is scheduled for Nov. 12.

The event gives explorers between the ages of 5 and 12 access to the four floors of exhibits of the museum while their adults take a break for the evening. Operating hours are 6-10 p.m.

Kids Night will include classroom STEM activities with science inspired by sci-fi books and movies, plus a live science show, film and pizza dinner.

The science center is currently playing host to an exhibit named “Hot Wheels: Race to Win.” It features hands-on displays that get into design, racing and testing elements and help give an understanding of speed.

Kids Night at the Museum admission is $85 for one child, then $60 per additional sibling. For more information, go to OSC.org.
