TEXAS — Legendary entertainment basketball team the Harlem Globetrotters will be stopping by Cedar Park and Austin on their 2023 world tour. The basketball stars will be going head-to head against the Washington Generals at the H-E-B Center in Cedar Park on Feb. 5 and at Austin’s Moody Center on Feb. 10. This is the Globetrotters’ first-ever tour that interacts with all the fans in the audience. Some will be lucky enough to get on the court.
The roster this year boasts of the largest female roster in Globetrotters history. Just in December, the organization announced that Lynette Woodard, the first woman to ever join the Globetrotters, is returning as special adviser to the president.
The Harlem Globetrotters formed in 1926 and have entertained crowed across 124 countries and territories and on six continents. They were even inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. Globetrotters are known for their entertaining basketball shots and have been outscoring the Washington Generals since 1971.
