NEW YORK – “Gone Girl” and “Cocktail” actor Lisa Banes remained hospitalized in important issue Saturday evening right after being injured in a strike-and-operate accident in New York City, her supervisor said.
Banes, 65, was struck by both a scooter or a motorbike in the Upper West Side of Manhattan around Lincoln Centre on Friday night as she was crossing Amsterdam Avenue on the way to check out the Julliard University, her alma mater, supervisor David Williams claimed in an e mail to The Associated Push.
Williams explained Banes was being taken care of at Mount Sinai Morningside medical center for “substantial accidents.”
Law enforcement declined to identify the strike-and-run victim, and no arrests have been announced.
Banes has appeared in quite a few television displays and films, like supporting roles in “Gone Girl” starring Ben Affleck in 2014 and “Cocktail” with Tom Cruise in 1988. On television, she’s experienced roles on “Nashville,” “Madam Secretary,” “Masters of Sex” and “NCIS.”
