Gatorland will again celebrate Gatorpalooza, a two-day event at the attraction that features live music, vendors, the Florida Man Challenge and an admission discount for Florida residents.
Gatorpalooza is set for Feb. 14-15 and will include specialty food can craft vendors, artisans, the Gatorland Vlog Team in addition to the assorted gators and animals that regularly inhabit the South Orange Blossom Trail tourism mainstay.

It will be the second running of the Florida Man Challenge.
“On Saturday, May 14th, this wild event has our crazy competitors racing through a muddy swamp, swarming with giant alligators in a triathlon-style event like no other,” Mark McHugh, Gatorland’s president and CEO, said in a news release. “It’s the kind of sporting event that makes the rest of the U.S. shake their heads and say, ‘Only in Florida!’ while everyone in Florida just shakes their head and says, ‘Only at Gatorland!’”

Florida residents get half-off daily admissions throughout May at Gatorland, including Gatorpalooza weekend. That will cost $16.50 per person ($11.50 for ages 3-12). All adults will be required to provide proof of Florida residency when buying admission tickets at the gate.
