Florida Strawberry Pageant will take more than Plant Town starting this week

Central Florida’s Strawberry Pageant opens for business enterprise in Plant Metropolis this 7 days, and in addition to the strawberries and metric tons of fair foodstuff, the live audio part this calendar year is no slouch.

Strawberry Competition organizers have lined up a mix of outdated and new musicians that offers the proverbial one thing for anyone. Highlights include things like Willie Nelson this Friday, Tanya Tucker on March 8 and the Isley Brothers on March 11.

New attractions and choices this calendar year consist of the Very Berry Battered Corn Doggy (if you know, you know) and new journey the Berry Large Wheel, a 15-story-tall massive wheel that will give riders a perspective of the entire (berry) huge expanse of the competition grounds.

March 2-12 Florida Strawberry Competition, 303 BerryFest Location, Plant City, flstrawberryfestival.com, $10.
