AUSTIN, Texas — As if the weekend’s legendary game between Alabama and Texas is not exciting enough, the matchup will be followed by a performance from international hip-hop artist Flo Rida.
Performing at Longhorn City Limits right after the game, the “Good Feeling,” “Whistle” and “Club Can’t Handle Me” hit singer will be at the LBJ Lawn. Admission is free.
“Sept. 10 is going to be a fantastic, all-day celebration of The University of Texas,” said Chris Del Conte, Texas vice president and athletics director. “I’m so excited to cap off the day listening to Flo Rida, one of the leading artists of the 21st Century and a fan favorite, at Longhorn City Limits presented by Still Austin Whiskey.”
Leading up to the superstar’s performance is Austin’s own DJ Mel.
Fans 21 and up can enjoy new signature activations at Longhorn City Limits. The Still Austin Music Lounge will be serving its signature Horns Up Bourbon Lemonade on Ice as well as a full menu of refreshments to enjoy in the shade. Still Austin Whiskey Co. will be handing out limited edition swag.
Tito’s Tailgate will have Tito’s cocktails on tap. Stubb’s BBQ will also be present and concert goers can take pictures in front of the LCL guitar monument.
