“Avengers: Power the Night,” a nighttime drone show, will debut Jan. 28, 2023 at Walt Disney Studios Park and will be performed nightly through May 8, 2023. The spectacle will feature favorite heroes like Scarlet Witch and Shang-Chi, complementing the “Disney D-Light” drone show next door at Disneyland Park next door. As with the neighboring show, “Avengers: Power the Night” is a partnership between Disney and Dronisos.
Visitors of stateside Disney parks have yet to see drones in action for a nighttime spectacular, with the exception of the short-lived “Starbright Holidays” at Disney Springs in 2016.
The Return of Fan Favorites
As part of the grand finale for the Disneyland Paris 30th anniversary, the fan favorite “Disney Dreams!” fireworks and projection show will return will return on April 12, 2023 (the resort’s official 31st birthday). “Disney Dreams!” will be presented at Disneyland Park nightly following “Disney D-Light.”
Also at Disneyland Park, Fantasyland will welcome back “it’s a small world” from its refurbishment in spring 2023. Disney says the classic attraction’s enhancements included “several technical upgrades” and “reviving the highly colorful appearance of its outdoor façade.”
In addition, l’Auberge de Cendrillon will re-open with the return of Disney Princess character dining this spring.
A New Pixar Stage Show
Moving on to the summer, Walt Disney Studios Park will premiere “Pixar: We Belong Together,” a new show in Studio Theater. Disney promises “state-of-the-art stage technology, lighting effects, choreography, and iconic songs” as “guests will find out how music and friendship brings us together.”
Disneyland Paris 30th Anniversary Grand Finale Merch
There’s no shortage of exclusive merchandise as the Disneyland Paris 30th anniversary ushers in its grand finale. The resort will pay tribute to Minnie Mouse with a line of new items for Polka Dot Day on Jan. 22. Additionally, fans of “Dream… and Shine Brighter” will be thrilled with apparel matching the 30th anniversary show’s colors.
Become a hero at Avengers Campus
While many of the festivities for the Disneyland Paris 30th anniversary will conclude when the celebration ends after Sept. 30, a few are here to stay.
Avengers Campus, which opened earlier in the celebration at Walt Disney Studios Park, isn’t going anywhere. Long after the anniversary, guests can continue to suit up for the new attractions “Avengers Assemble: Flight Force” (a re-imagining of “Rock ‘n Roller Coaster) and “Spider-Man W.E.B. Adventure” (a near-duplicate of Disney California Adventure’s “Web-Slingers”).
