It’s been a busy week for theme parks. Legoland Florida launched a new boat ride and Disney World and Universal shared some surprising news. Orlando Sentinel tourism reporters Dewayne Bevil and Katie Rice hopped aboard Pirate River Quest to hunt for Captain RedBeard’s treasure while taking in the history and beauty of Cypress Gardens. Also this week, Walt Disney World announced it will relax its requirement for park reservations for its annual passholders and revealed an opening date for Tron and when favorite nighttime spectaculars will return to Magic Kingdom and Epcot. But wait, that is not all. Universal Parks & Resorts revealed two new projects: a theme park designed for young children near Dallas and a year-round horror attraction in Las Vegas. Dewayne and Katie have a lot of ground to cover. Listen to this episode of Theme Park Rangers using the player below or download anywhere you get your podcasts.
