“Guardians of the Galaxy” actor Dave Bautista has taken a ride on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Disney World’s new roller coaster at Epcot.
“It was crazy. I’ve never been on anything like it,” Bautista said. “I could hear my lines. … ‘I don’t do well with milk’ … It was the silliest line, and it was perfect.”
The indoor coaster takes passengers on a spinning, intergalactic chase. Members of the movie’s cast, including Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Glenn Close and Bautista, make appearances in the queue and character voices are heard during the ride. Bautista is also part of Guardians of the Galaxy — Mission: Breakout, the ride at Disney California Adventure that’s a reimagining of the theme park’s Tower of Terror attraction.

Bautista has played Drax the Destroyer in six films, including the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3.” He said the cast recorded lines for the Epcot attraction in October. Cosmic Rewind debuted to the public in May.
“My heart was beating before we got on the coaster. Not because I’m afraid of coasters — I love coasters — but I was just so excited about this. We’ve been waiting for this for a long time,” he said in a video released by Disney.
“Being here and being a part of Disney World is a little overwhelming. It’s so emotional,” he said.
