The dark side of magic will take over The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando Resort when the “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” projection show returns on Sept. 16, 2022.

From dusk to park close on select nights from Sept. 16 through Oct. 31, 2022, guests will encounter the devoted followers of Lord Voldemort – and practitioners of the Dark Arts – known as Death Eaters in the streets of Hogsmeade Village at Universal’s Islands of Adventure park.
Soon after, a powerful dark spell shrouds the façade of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft & Wizardry as the “Dark Arts at Hogwarts Castle” returns with images of Dementors, spiders, Mountain Trolls, and even Lord Voldemort himself.
The magical state-of-the-art projection mapping, special effects, lighting, and music show unleashes creatures from the Harry Potter films onto the iconic castle, and only a powerful Patronus defense charm in the form of a silver stag can save the day.
Guests can also shop for new Dark Arts-themed merchandise featuring the Dark Mark, including mugs, hats, lanyards, tees, and even a Death Eater mask.
