Crews test green dye in Hillsborough River

TAMPA, Fla. — Final preparations are underway for the St. Patrick’s Day bash in Downtown Tampa, the River O’ Green Fest.

The Tampa Downtown Partnership and the City of Tampa will host the River O’ Green Fest on Friday, March 17.

The inital date and time was scheduled for Saturday, March 18 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., but was bumped up one day by the City of Tampa due to Saturday’s forecast of inclement weather.

The free event at Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park includes live entertainment, food vendors, and fun family-friendly activities.

Festivities start at 4 p.m. and run through 10 p.m.
