SeaWorld’s water park will participate in National Hispanic Heritage Month by throwing Fiesta Aquatica on weekends throughout September.
The event, included in regular Aquatica admission, will feature Latin music throughout the attraction and a DJ on the wave pool deck encouraged waders to dance.
For a fee, tequila tastings are available (for folks over 21) during Fiesta Aquatica at the new Trader Turi’s Tiki Bar on the water park’s beach. That location also will feature a guitarist.
Fiesta Aquatica will offer Latin-inspired foods at four restaurants, and the menu will include arroz con pernil, plantains, tripleta sandwiches, empanadas, a Cuban panini, pico de gallo pizza and Tres Leches cake.
Aquatica’s waterslides and attractions will operate as usual. The event will be held Saturdays and Sundays through Sept. 25. Saturday hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
