HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – The drummer for Grammy Award-winning rock band Alabama Shakes is in custody on kid abuse rates.
Steven William Johnson, 35, was arrested Wednesday after becoming indicted on fees of willful torture, willful abuse and cruelly beating or in any other case willfully maltreating a little one beneath the age of 18, information retailers described.
Johnson was taken to the Limestone County Jail. Bond was established at $21,500. It was not apparent if Johnson has an legal professional who could remark on the prices. Professionals for the band did not straight away answer to an emailed ask for for remark.
An arraignment date is established for April 7.
Johnson pleaded responsible in March 2020 to violating a domestic violence defense purchase in Limestone County. He acquired a suspended sentence of a calendar year in jail, with 24 months on probation.
