GO TUBING AT A LAZY RIVER OR NATURAL SPRING
Nothing says lazy Labor Day quite like floating down a lazy river or natural spring in an inner tube. Local resorts with epic lazy rivers (available for resort guests) include JW Marriott Orlando Grande Lakes, Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Reunion Resort, Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate, and Wyndham Grande Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek.
If you’d rather tube down a natural cold spring with crystal clear water, check out Blue Spring State Park, Kelly Park, or KP Hole. At the latter, your float will last 4-4.5 hours! Get there super early – capacity is usually reached by 8:30am.
GO ON A LABOR DAY BOAT TOUR
An excellent way to get acquainted with all the beauty Winter Park has to offer is by hopping on the Scenic Boat Tour this Labor Day. For decades this tour has taken locals and tourists around the Winter Park Chain of Lakes, by Kraft Azalea Gardens, Rollins College, and even past Mr. Roger’s former home. After a relaxing brunch on Park Avenue, hop on the next tour and enjoy the ride, along with some great Winter Park history.

Epic Labor Day Weekend Idea – Enjoy an all-inclusive happy hour featuring specialty cocktails and Mediterranean-inspired food while you experience the Ignite 360 Fireworks spectacular from a private waterfront patio. Labor Day Weekend fireworks party is available to reserve for Saturday, September 3, 2022
This Ignite 360 Fireworks party is brand new, and it’s a little pricey. Each adult is $79.99 and each child aged 3-9 is $29.99. That does include a nice spread of food and unlimited cocktails, so given the number of drinks that will be consumed, this would be best for adults, rather than having the kiddos along. But, we also know it’s not easy finding a babysitter sometimes. Children under 2 are free but require a reservation.
